This Saturday, April 8, is the National Peeps Eating Contest at the National Harbor. Registration to enter is at 11:45 and other activities start at noon and continue until past4:00. These include rock climbing, face painting, moon bounce maze and other fun events. Watch “Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory” at the end of the event. The contest itself is 1:30pm and features world-ranked professional eaters who will compete to eat as many PEEPS as possible in 5 minutes! The record to beat is 200, set by Matt Stonie in 2016. The winner will take home the glory, the trophy, and $1,750! Remember, one lucky amateur from our 12:15pm Amateur PEEPS Eating Contest can win too, so get here early to register!
