- Virtual Trivia with the Rosslyn BID – The Rosslyn BID is hosting a twice weekly virtual trivia game with prizes. The 20-question trivia will close out the workday or kick off your virtual happy hour. The game can be accessed on your mobile phone or computer Tuesdays and Thursdays through April at 5 p.m. The top three scorers will get a digital gift card of up to $75 to Target, Safeway or CVS.
- Story District Virtual Live Storytelling Show – For the first time in 22 years, Story District is bringing its live storytelling show online. On April 14th at 7:30 pm via a YouTube livestream, eight local storytellers will showcase their talents. The show is called “Acting a Fool: Stories About Mishaps, Mayhem, Mischief and Mistakes.” The show is a pay-what-you-can donation.
- P&P Live! – Popular bookstore Politics & Prose are livestreaming free author talks. Upcoming ones include April 14th’s Victoria Jamieson and Omar Mohamed, authors of When Stars Are Scattered at 2 pm and Madeleine Albright, author of Hell and Other Destinations in conversation with Lissa Muscatine at 7 p.m. On Wednesday April 15th, author Michael Arceneaux (I Don’t Want to Die Poor: Essays in Conversation with Gillian White) speaks at 7 p.m.
- Pearl Street Warehouse – The popular concert venue is hosting live stream concerts. Artists and concerts change daily so it is best to visit the link included above. One upcoming confirmed concert is the Ashleigh Chevalier Band Saturday April 18th at 7 p.m.
