It’s a sign of the times—a “ghost kitchen” is coming to the Glover Park neighborhood in DC. The space, located at 2340 Wisconsin Ave. (formerly Town Hall), will feature carryout choices from various DC chefs.
Coming to the ghost food hall—fried chicken in Southern, Korean and Japanese styles by Rock Harper, ramen and pork buns by Ramen by Uzu, Tex Mex by Naomi Gallego, who currently is at Red Light and food by Aaron Gordon, who owns Red Light and Little Beast Café and Bistro.
Those with a sweet tooth will be happy to hear Red Velvet Cupcakes and pastry shop Bakers and Baristas will be available. There will even be a bar serving batched to-go cocktails. Every Sunday, Gordon’s father-in-law will make a smoked lamb for each chef at the ghost food hall to use.
The idea of merging a food hall and online food offerings is new. The kitchen’s new offerings should be all up and ready by early fall, with the promise of new startups coming in.
