Summer Restaurant Week is happening this year, two weeks from today, returning as the DC area’s twice a year celebration of all the restaurants the area has to offer.
To coincide with the times, this year’s Summer Restaurant Week will include to-go options in family style and cocktail and wine pairings. Hundreds of restaurants across the DMV will be participating.
Restaurants will offer dinner menus at either $35 or $55/person. The family style to-go meals will be offered at two different price points to fit a large range of budgets. An example of the price points is below:
One Person | Two People | Four People |
$35 | $60 | $130 |
$55 | $100 | $210 |
Cocktails and wine will be available a la carte for enjoyment on the restaurants’ premises (some will be available via takeout). Lunch and brunch menus at some eateries are offered at $22/person.
Best of all, Events DC and JBG Smith (partners with the Restaurant Association Metropolitan Washington) are covering participating costs so restaurants can join in without any monetary issues.
Whether you’re craving pizza from All Purpose Pizza, a traditional DC restaurant meal at Bistro Bis or Chef Geoff’s delicious bacon cheeseburgers, there’s something for everyone.
With one extra week this year, there’s plenty of time to visit your favorite restaurant for an affordable meal!
